In short: Webtop subscriptions renew automatically. You can cancel yourself at any time, in a couple of clicks, with no need to contact us. Cancelling stops the next charge and you keep your paid features until the period you already paid for runs out. We are not able to offer partial refunds for time remaining, but if something has gone wrong, tell us — we would rather fix it than keep the money.
Webtop's paid plans are subscriptions to a digital service, billed in advance. A monthly plan bills every month; an annual plan bills every twelve months. Nothing is shipped, so there is no returns process — this page covers cancellation, renewal and refunds instead.
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, at the plan price shown when you subscribed, using the payment method on file. It keeps renewing until you cancel. The renewal date for your current period is shown on the Billing tab of your account page.
That is the whole process — there is no cancellation fee, no retention call, and no requirement to email us first. If you would rather we did it for you, contact us and we will.
Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. You keep your paid features until then, and you are not charged again. After that your account stays open on the free plan; nothing is deleted because you cancelled, though features limited to paid plans stop being available.
Because cancelling already stops the next charge and preserves the time you paid for, we do not routinely refund the unused part of a current billing period.
We will issue a refund in these situations:
Outside those cases we consider requests individually and in good faith. Nothing in this policy limits or waives any right to a refund or to cancel that you may have under the consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction. Where those laws afford you greater rights than this policy, those laws govern.
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe. They usually appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
If we change the price of a plan you are on, we will email you before it takes effect, and it will only apply from your next billing period. If you do not want to continue at the new price, cancel before that date and you will not be charged it.
If you think a charge is wrong, please contact us first — we can almost always resolve it faster than a bank dispute can, and we would genuinely rather hear from you. If you do open a dispute with your bank or card issuer, we will respond with our records of the subscription and its billing history.
Deleting your account cancels any active subscription automatically. You will not be charged again, whether you delete the account yourself from your Account page or we delete it. Deletion is not a refund: the cancellation takes effect the same way it would if you had cancelled normally, and the refund rules above still apply.
If all you want is to stop paying, cancel the subscription instead — deleting the account also removes your webtops and their contents.
